Preschool for ages 3-5 offered to beginners with little or no experience. Preschool is designed to develop the fundamental skating skills necessary to progress to Figure Skating, Hockey,
or Ringette. Children are encouraged to skate using creative games, activities and assistance.

CanSkate for children ages 5 and up. Designed to develop the fundamental skating skills necessary to progress to Figure Skating, Hockey or Ringette. CanSkate is Canada’s only national
learn-to-skate program. It was developed by experts to teach the fundamentals of skating in a progressive and sequential manner.

STAR skate (Prepreliminary) offered to skaters who have passed CanSkate Stage 5 . STAR skate provides the opportunity for skaters of all ages to develop the fundamental figure skating
skills in the areas of Ice Dance, Skating Skills, Free Skate and Interpretive Skating.

Adult Learn-to-Skate offered to adults to develop the fundamental, basic skating skills.

PowerSkating for children approx 6 or older who already have basic forward/ backward skating skills as well as stopping on command. PowerSkate is an action packed high energy
instructional power skating program geared to hockey and ringette skaters that focuses on balance, power, agility, speed and endurance. Skills, technique, and conditioning drills are taught in a progressive format that
emphasizes how the skills apply to game situations.
